This course has been approved by the Royal Society of Chemistry for purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

This one day course teaches the theory along with practical experience on how to use Solid-Phase Micro-Extraction as an automated sample preparation technique for GC-MS or LC-MS.

You will learn how to modify samples to improve results, then using this knowledge to create SPME methods, analyse samples and experiment with parameters to see the effects.

This course will cover the SPME instrumentation, set up and troubleshooting. It will introduce related techniques like SBSE, SPE-TD and SPDE.

Combine with any of the other 1-day Hands-on sample preparation courses covering Solid-Phase Extraction (SPE), Headspace, Thermal Desorption, Pyrolysis, Purge-and-Trap, Derivatisation and Liquid-Liquid Extraction (LLE) - see the Anthias website for further details.

CAMS members can receive a discount of 10% for this course, if booked at least 6 weeks in advance.
