This course provides the essential and practical theory about all available GC & GC-MS techniques.

This course has been approved by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) for purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

This course is taught live in a virtual classroom, is totally interactive with instrument parts and consumables shown & explained. There are small group sizes so plenty of opportunities to ask LIVE questions. It is a total of 18 hours split over 5 days.

This course provides the essential and practical theory about all available GC & GC-MS techniques, covering how to select and use the GC carrier gas; sample introdution techniques; how to select a GC column, GC detector and mass selective detectors, how to undertake data analysis and different sample preparation techniques that can be used. 

Who is this course for?

This course is for those who have basic knowledge of gas chromatography and would like to greatly enhance it, learning the practical theory about all available GC & GC-MS techniques.
