Introduction to CAMS Industry Advisory Board

Tony Bristow (CAMS Industry Advisory Board Chair)

Tony Bristow, Principal Scientist for Measurement Science, Chemical Development, Pharmaceutical Technology and Development, AstraZeneca, Macclesfield, UK.
I hold a leadership role in analytical and measurement science, developing and driving the delivery of analytical and measurement science strategy. This encompasses the broad drug project portfolio (small molecules and new modalities) tackling the challenges therein. Prior to this my major focus was the application and development of mass spectrometry at all stages in the development of pharmaceuticals (2005 - 2018). I am an Associate Visiting Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Warwick, the former Chair of the British Mass Spectrometry Society (2012-2014) and a former member of the Royal Society of Chemistry Analytical Division Council (2013-2019).I have authored and co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles on mass spectrometry and many other analytical techniques. I am a regular presenter at both national and international conferences and other events including educational outreach.

Industry Challenges JamBoard

Alongside the 2020 conference, CAMS ran a series of JamBoards to help the community engage with current key areas in Analytical Measurement Science. The Industry challenges JamBoard addresses the 4 key CAMS themes. Take a look to see the topics of discussion at the 2020 CAMS Conference.
