This course has been approved by the Royal Society of Chemistry for purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Learn the theory and gain practical experience of how to use Thermal Desorption (TD) as an automated sample preparation technique for GC or GC-MS.

This one day course covers the theory of static and dynamic headspace and how to modify samples to improve results, then using this knowledge to create methods, analyse samples and experiment with parameters to see the effects.

Learn how to set up and maintain the technique on a live instrument and the frequent maintenance and common troubleshooting problems in TD analysis.

Combine with any of the 1-day Hands-on sample preparation for GC & GC-MS courses covering Headspace (HS), Solid-Phase Micro-Extraction (SPME), Pyrolysis and Purge-and-Trap (P&T) - see the Anthias website for further details.

1-day course price: £499 + VAT per delegate.

CAMS members can receive a discount of 10% for this course, if booked at least 6 weeks in advance.
