Hands-on UV-Vis course

Register now for practical training in UV-Vis spectroscopy on our 1-day course on 14th August 2024.

This Hands-on UV-Vis course covers all of the practical theory about UV-Vis spectroscopy including characteristic absorptions, and reviews various common applications of the technique.

The course also introduces the factors affecting precision in UV-Vis spectroscopy and reviews sampling techniques as well as data handling, such as building quantitative calibration.

Practical hands-on lab work is used to reinforce learning on method development, operation and interpretation of the spectra.

What you will learn on this course

Participants will gain an in-depth knowledge about the technique of UV-Vis spectroscopy and an understanding of the applications which use UV-Vis spectroscopy. In addition participants will learn about sample preparation and analysis techniques for UV-Vis spectroscopy as well as gain hands-on experience in method creation, sample analysis and data analysis.
