Anthias Consulting Ltd was shortlisted for two awards at this year’s Lab Awards which were held at the Lab Innovations exhibition at the Birmingham NEC on the 1st of November. This micro-business
was nominated alongside AstraZeneca and Leybold for ‘Best Company Culture’ due to their flexible working arrangements, care for work-life balance, scenic office location and focus on employee training. Anthias were also shortlisted alongside Asynt, CoolMed and ESSLAB/Element Deeside and won the award for ‘Supplier Excellence’. The award was presented to Dr Diane Turner
(Director, Founder and Senior Consultant of Anthias) by Maggie Philbin OBE, Tomorrow's World presenter and CEO of TeenTech. The award was sponsored by Johnson's Laboratory Logistics, see photograph of director James Oakes alongside Dr Diane Turner and Maggie Philbin.
The judges were extremely impressed with their forefront position in training and CPD approval with the Royal Society of Chemistry. One judge said 'their fantastic supplier services and commitment to
excellence are noteworthy, making them a top supplier choice.' Their experience with providing bespoke Gas Chromatography- Mass Spectrometry training in Iraq on behalf of the United Nations,
resulting in a huge increase of productivity in the labs of the Iraqi Forensic Service.
Back at the Lab Awards 2021 Anthias Consulting won awards for ‘Most Impactful Online or Print Training Resource’ and ‘Most Impactful F2F Training’ and this is further recognition of their
consistent high standards.
Anthias Consulting is a successful Analytical Chemistry training and consultancy based just outside Cambridge, forerunners in their field, the majority of their training courses are approved by the
Royal Society of Chemistry for CPD.
