As we close 2025, we want to celebrate what we achieved together and extend heartfelt thanks to the many collaborators who volunteered many hours in support of the analytical measurement science community. Your time, expertise, and generosity are the foundation of CAMS.

Through our annual Postdoc and PhD call, CAMS continued to back high‑potential analytical measurement science research in priority areas. We are delighted to share that in closing 2025, we now are proud to have catalysed an amazing 70  industry and academic led projects through CAMS. These projects have been made possible through the funding commitments from our partners in industry, academia and the Analytical Chemistry Trust Fund. This highlights the important role we are having as a community to connect in  impactful collaborations which will drive UK and Irish innovation in analytical measurement science.

Knowledge sharing and professional development remained central to our mission. Our Data Analytics Working Group delivered a series of webinars, while the BEAM panel ran hands‑on training for awardees and students focused on instrument qualification, method development, validation, and quality control. These activities help participants deepen skills and translate analytical measurement science into practice.

We also brought community members together at the Sensors and Photonics State of the Nation event in Leeds, creating space for experts to address challenges, share insights, and help shape future technology roadmaps.

CAMS working groups are developing recommendations and papers to encourage policy dialogue with funding bodies and stakeholders, helping to steer future directions for our field. With new partnerships and collaborations forming, the network continues to offer a dynamic environment for collaboration, training, and innovation.

To our funding bodies, industry partners, panel chairs, network members, speakers, sponsors and academic members, thank you for your commitment and for the hours you have given so generously. We are proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to working with you in 2026. We already posted a new call for Grand Challenge Funding in 2026 so look out for a webinar on that early in the New Year.

Wishing you a restful break and a successful year ahead.
