Laboratory professionals and members of the analytical community will be connecting at Lab Innovations, the UK’s largest trade exhibition for the laboratory industry. The show takes place on 2nd – 3rd November at the NEC in Birmingham and registration is free.

CAMS member Alana Thompson from Anthias Consulting takes a look at what is going on at the show this year.

Now in its 10th year, Lab Innovations is a bright and busy show buzzing with new product launches and demonstrations of new technologies and instrumentation, showcasing the latest innovations. This year will see a spotlight on sustainability, with a dedicated trail highlighting the latest solutions and efficiencies driving discussions in this area.

Attendees can benefit from over 40 hours of talks on latest insights from keynote speakers, panel discussions and exciting presentations at the various theatres at the show including the Royal Society of Chemistry Theatre, the Innovations & Insights Theatre, Live Lab, Cleanroom Hub and Sustainable Lab.

This year the UKAS lounge will provide a great opportunity to learn more about technical assessment and accreditation standards.

The Lab Awards will celebrate the achievements across the industry and along with Lab Innovations 10th anniversary celebrations there will be lots of opportunities to network and meet up with colleagues and friends.

Co-located just next door in the adjoining hall is Lab Innovation’s sister show Advanced Engineering. With R&D, testing, QA, measurement and inspection zones and more, the two shows together reflect the diversity and multidisciplinary projects within the analytical world.

Don’t miss this in-person event to experience all of the above as well as the opportunity to network and meet up with colleagues in the analytical community and to keep up to date with the latest knowledge and conversations.

Registration is free – find out all the details and register at https://www.lab-innovations.com.
