Due to the COVID-19 pandemics and the resulting restrictions in terms of traveling, MicroTAS 2020 will be held online!
MicroTAS 2020 continues a well-established series of international conferences that is the premier forum for reporting research results in micro- and nanofluidics, microfabrication, nanotechnology, analysis and synthesis, detection technologies for chemistry and life sciences, as well as in organ-on-a-chip technology, which currently represents a growing topic at MicroTAS!
With this virtual conference, we aim at continuing to engage and strengthen the microfluidic and organ-on-a-chip communities. Despite the modified format, the meeting remains a true MicroTAS conference designed to follow the goals and capture the spirit of MicroTAS: (1) to maintain the quality of the scientific exchange at the meeting; (2) to provide a forum for new/unpublished work in the field of microsystems for chemistry and biology; (3) to promote scientific engagements/exchanges in a wide variety of subject areas across the field; (4) to promote exchanges among researchers of all career stages; (5) and to grow the community by engaging new scientific directions and new researchers.
MicroTAS 2020 will be chaired by Prof. Séverine Le Gac (University of Twente, The Netherlands) and Prof. Hang Lu (Georgia Tech, USA).
This online MicroTAS conference will feature plenary and keynote speakers, poster presentations selected from submitted abstracts with optional flash presentations for the posters, and several opportunities for poster awards! The online event will be preceded by workshops, and will include various social activities to maintain the level for networking opportunities!
Abstract submission deadline: 28th of July 2020!!
