Qualified Persons cannot fulfil their role in a responsible way unless they understand the actions and uses of the medicinal products manufactured and those they are asked to certify. This course provides further understanding of product ‘fit for its intended use’.

This module takes major therapeutic categories as examples and together with some basic physiology, discusses the pharmacology of particular drugs used for those categories.

The lectures are provided through subject matter experts and supported by worked manufacturing and packaging examples and experiences provided by a QP.

This is an essential course for most QP candidates, including those with a little prior knowledge of pharmacology. Provides a useful contribution to Continuing Professional Development for those wanting to learn more about medicinal products, especially those working in an operational environment (full scale or clinical trial), QC and QA.

The course will also provide an understanding of how medicinal chemistry can be used in the QP evaluation of deviations, product certification, cleaning, complaints and recall.

This 3 day QP module takes place in our purpose built training facilities based on the University of Reading campus in Berkshire.
Course cost: £2085 (+VAT)
